Unable to Create Budget Journal

Unable to Create a Budget Import Journal / EDIT Budget journal report values dont match with the Worksheet Values

This error is encountered which could be because of one or all of the following reason

1) Child worksheets stage not moved in case of Dstributed worksheets

2) Account Code combinations either End dated or Invalid

Solution:

This issue can be resolved as follows

1) Move all the worksheets to the level as the main worksheet , then the child worksheet values will get consolidated into the main and then Create Budget Journal Program can be run in the "TRIAL MODE" which gives the output as EDIT Report output, the values in this can be verified against the main worksheet and then the request can be run again in "FINAL MODE".

2) If the above request doesn't call the JOURNAL IMPORT program and then the problem lies with "END Dated or INVALID Account Code COmbinations", such codes have to validated or they have to be made avialable. After this check you may run the request in final mode and it create BUDGET JOURNALS FOR POSTING.

To track the worksheet movement and Invalid / End Dated Code Combination ID's , run the exception reports developed by Kulkarni.
